North Missouri’s own Rhonda Vincent to be inducted into Grand Ole Opry

Bluegrass music star Rhonda Vincent of Greentop will be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry later this month.

Vincent was born and raised in Greentop, Missouri. She has come a long way. She started her professional music career at age 5. The so-called “Queen of Bluegrass” started by playing drums for her family’s band, the Sally Mountain Show.

Vincent and her band, The Rage, also won a Grammy in 2017 for Best Bluegrass Album.

Rhonda was performing at the Opry when she found out she was to be inducted as Jeannie Sealy came on stage to tell her about the induction into the Opry

 

 

Vincent will be officially inducted into the Grand Ole Opry family on March 24, 2020, in Nashville.
