North Mercer Kindergarten through 12th grade Principal Kim Palmer is retiring at the end of this school year.
She’s been employed 30 years at North Mercer as a teacher, and then Principal since 2007.
The North Mercer board approved a resolution for the April ballot involving a Proposition C waiver proposal.
The board approved a renewal of property insurance coverage from CPSK Insurance of Harrisonville at a premium cost of slightly over $30,000.
A paraprofessional job offer was made, however, the name was withheld until the offer is accepted.
The board held a closed session regarding personnel but no announcement was made afterward.
