The North Central Missouri College baseball team will be hosting their annual “Winter Warm-Up” on Saturday, February 9, 2019.

The day will begin with a clinic for high school and other youth coaches held on the NCMC campus.  Current NCMC players will accompany signees for the 2019 class as they sit in on clinic sessions and tour the campus.  Following the clinic, dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. at the lower level of the First Baptist Church. Guests are encouraged to arrive at 5:30 p.m. for visiting and the opportunity to purchase NCMC Baseball apparel.

Winning raffle tickets from the baseball fundraising raffle will also be drawn at the dinner. Top raffle items include a $500 debit card, a bat signed by HOF George Brett, a photo signed by HOF Cal Ripken, Jr., and autographed items.  For more information, visit the NCMC Baseball Facebook page @ncmcbaseball.

The “Winter Warm-Up” is designed to reunite and honor all TJC/NCMC baseball alumni and celebrate with friends of the program.  The event will feature keynote speaker, Mike Arbuckle of the Kansas City Royals, as well as, MLB scout Jerry Lafferty.  Prior to the keynote address, the 2019 Pirate team will be introduced, the Pirate Coaching Staff will give an outlook for the upcoming season, Pirate alumni will be recognized, and newly signed Pirate recruits will be introduced.  Friends and Family of the NCMC baseball program are invited to attend.

Cost of the dinner is $25 per plate; please RSVP.  Alumni will be recognized, so if you are a former Pirate baseball player, or know of one who would like to participate, please contact Head Baseball Coach Donnie Hillerman.  You can do so by phone at 660-357-6412, email: [email protected], or message through the NCMC Baseball Facebook page.
