The Highway Patrol reports a Norborne teen sustained minor injuries when his vehicle struck a deer and a tree northwest of Carrollton Friday night.
Seventeen-year-old Dalton Hamilton drove east on County Road 240, west of Route D, when his vehicle hit a deer, ran off the left side of the road, and hit a tree. The vehicle was totaled.
A private vehicle transported him to Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
The Patrol reports Hamilton wore a seat belt at the time of the accident.
