The North Central Missouri Regional Water Commission launched a new website for the East Locust Creek Reservoir.
The website was designed to provide documents, maps, videos, displays, reports, and studies pertaining to the reservoir to the public.
The North Central Missouri Regional Water Commission announced the completion of land acquisition to accommodate the water supply reservoir last week.
The reservoir will provide water to the counties of Mercer, Putnam, Schuyler, Grundy, Sullivan, Adair, Livingston, Linn, Macon, and Chariton.
It is the biggest project overseen by the Natural Resources Conservation Service in the United States.
