New Highway Patrol Trooper assigned to Daviess, DeKalb Counties

Drivers in north Missouri will see a new face patrolling the highways and byways of Daviess and Dekalb counties.

Captain James E. McDonald, commanding officer Troop H, is pleased to announce the assignment of one new trooper to Northwest Missouri. The new trooper is a member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 102nd Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on June 24, 2016. The new trooper reported for duty on July 11, 2016.

Trooper Matthew W. Neely, of Cameron, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 10, which serves the citizens of DeKalb and Daviess counties. Trooper Neely is a graduate of Central High School, St Joseph, Missouri, and attended Missouri Western State University majoring in criminal justice. Trooper Neely’s training officer will be Corporal Jason Cross.
