The North Central Missouri College Teacher Education Program partnered with the Pleasant View R-6 School District to provide a shared reading experience for preschoolers.
NCMC teacher candidates helped with the shared reading and provided a hands-on learning activity related to what was read.
Teacher Education Instructor Doctor Johannah Baugher says the partnership provided teacher candidates with the opportunity to share the gift of literacy with the preschool students.
Students received a copy of the book shared with them.
