Students enrolled in Child Psychology at North Central Missouri College learned about the services at the North Central Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center of Trenton during a visit to the center Tuesday.
The Children’s Advocacy Center offers advocacy, support, case-tracking, and trauma-focused therapy. The center also provides a child-friendly environment for interviewing children who have been victims of abuse.
The Child Psychology students also discussed child psychology-related careers during their visit. The students have been learning about environmental factors which influence child behavior and development.
