A free program regarding Missouri’s Fence Law will be held at the North Central Missouri College Barton Farm Campus of Trenton later this month.

The University of Missouri Extension Agricultural Business Specialist Joe Koenen will provide a comparison of the two-state fence laws in the Lager Building the evening of February 21st from 6 o’clock to 8:30 with North Central Missouri College sponsoring the evening meal at 6 o’clock.

Fence laws are subject to interpretation and can differ depending on the county where land is located. The meeting will better help landowners understand their rights and responsibilities. Koenen has presented programs on state fence law for more than 25 years, including via Skype and ITV.

This program will be done via Zoom video conference, so those attending can see the presentation as well as ask Koenen questions. Pre-registration is required for the supper, and space is limited.  Contact the Grundy County Extension Office to register or for more information phone 660-357-6580 or by emailing [email protected].
