Northeast Nodaway and Jefferson high schools each won two judging categories during NCMC Ag Contest Day in Trenton yesterday.

Nine other schools, including Trenton and Chillicothe, won first place in other career development events. Because of the sheer volume of teams and individuals, we’ve pared the list to recognize those finishing at the highest level in the competition.

A Trenton FFA team captured first place in meats. Emily Kasinger took 1st with Hannah Persell 3rd and Jayden Roeder 4th individually. Princeton FFA had a team take second place and Grundy R-5 was sixth in meats.

Chillicothe FFA won first place in farm management with Sarah Mason of Chillicothe taking first place individually.
