Students of NCMC have spoken and the NCMC Athletic Department has established an updated logo.
The Student Senate voted unanimously to replace the former pirate logo with a new, and what many consider a “more menacing version.”
Student Senate President Jeana Noel is quoted as saying “there is much excitement from athletes and general student population to have a new look for the logo. Look for the new logo to be popping up in the coming months.
NCMC’s mascot, Cap’n Patch, will remain the same moving forward, with Patch described as a staple for the campus community, so young fans can continue to look forward to seeing Cap’n Patch at athletic contests and other events.
