Multiple fire departments respond to tractor-trailer fire in Livingston County

The Livingston County Sheriff is reporting a tractor-trailer fire that occurred at approximately 11:50 pm Wednesday evening, where the driver was hauling fifty-seven cattle.

The fire was located on U.S. 36 Highway where it’s reported that the tractor-trailer truck was fully engulfed in flames, and was a total loss.

Responding to the scene were the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Chillicothe and Mooresville fire departments as well as the Livingston County Sheriff.

The driver was not injured, and the cattle were saved.
