Mosaic Medical Center in Maryville has announced the expansion of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.

Doctors Peter Dawson of Mosaic Life Care as well as Brian Duncan, William Humphreys, and Blake Peterson, all of Mosaic Medical Center in Maryville, will see patients weekly at the hospital.

President Nate Blackford says Humphreys, Peterson, and Duncan “bring decades of combined experience as orthopedic surgeons,” and Dawson “is one of the leading doctors” in the area with expertise in sports and physical medicine.

Humphreys treats acute and chronic injuries and conditions of the ankle, hand, hip, and knee. He offers joint replacement as well as orthopedic trauma and sports medicine care and is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

Peterson is fellowship-trained in adult reconstruction and specializes in joint replacement. He has surgical expertise in hip and knee replacements and offers non-surgical treatments for orthopedic conditions.

Duncan treats chronic, acute, and sports-related orthopedic injuries and conditions. He also uses non-surgical treatments.

Dawson is from Maryville and is board certified in sports medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation. He treats injuries and arthritis of joints, including shoulders, hips, and knees. He also offers injections and uses ultrasound to evaluate muscle, tendon, or ligament injuries and to better determine injection placement.

Humphreys, Peterson, Duncan, and Dawson see patients at Mosaic Specialty Care West in Maryville.
