The Missouri Department of Transportation says work postponed in 2015, on six roads in Daviess and Caldwell Counties due to poor weather conditions, will take place soon.

Daviess County roads set for work are Route RA between Highway 190 and the end of state maintenance, Route NN between Highway 6 and end of state maintenance, and Route HH between Highway 13 and the end of state maintenance.

Roads in Caldwell County scheduled for work are Route B between Route F and Highway 116, Route F between Highway 13 and Route A, and Route O between Route A and the end of state maintenance.

The work includes scratch course treatments, beginning Wednesday (April 20th) on Route RA in Daviess County  Most roads will take one day to complete that process.  However, Route F in Caldwell County could take up to four days.

MoDOT says the upcoming road projects will result in full closures, except Route NN in Daviess County, which will have a one-lane closure and a pilot car to guide motorists through the work zone.  Scratch course treatments on the various roads should be completed by May 2nd, weather permitting.  At that point, a chip seal will be applied, scheduled to begin on May 16th and continuing about two weeks.  Striping is planned after the chip sealing has cured.
