Missouri Public Service Commission to hold hearings on Grain Belt Express

The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold formal evidentiary hearings in a certificate of convenience and necessity case filed by Grain Belt Express Clean Line. The case is on remand from the Missouri Supreme Court.

The hearings are intended to address material changes in the evidence previously submitted to the Commission and admitted to the record in the case.

Grain Belt Express seeks a certificate of convenience and necessity to construct, own, operate and maintain a high voltage direct current transmission line and associated facilities in Caldwell, Carroll, Clinton, Chariton, Randolph, Monroe, Ralls, and Buchanan counties.

Formal evidentiary hearings will be in Room 310 of the Governor Office Building in Jefferson City December 18th and 19th. They will begin at 9 o’clock each morning and will be streamed on the Missouri Public Service Commission website.
