The Missouri Public Service Commission holds a public hearing at Marceline today regarding a request by Grain Belt Express to construct and operate a high-voltage, direct current transmission line, and associated facilities.
The hearing is at noon today at the Walsworth Community Center and is to end by 4 o’clock this afternoon.
The proposed line would go through northern Missouri from near St. Joseph to the south of Hannibal.
Other public hearings about the proposed line are tonight at Moberly Municipal Auditorium at 6 o’clock, at Cameron and Faucett next Tuesday, and at Polo andCarrollton next Wednesday.
