A 40-year-old Missouri man suffered moderate injuries Wednesday afternoon, after his car flipped on Interstate 29.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol, Brian J. McCoy was driving his Honda Accord northbound on I-29, at the 55 mile marker, when the vehicle went off the west side of the roadway and into the median.
The Honda continued in the median until it struck an embankment and became airborne. It struck the ground and went airborne a second time before coming to a rest on its top, facing south in the median.
McCoy was transported to Mosaic Life Care with moderate injuries, the highway patrol reported. He was wearing a seat belt.
