Plans are underway for work on two bridges on Route M and Route D in Mercer County.

The Missouri Department of Transportation is hosting an online-only virtual public meeting to gather community feedback regarding the planned replacement of the Route M Little Muddy Creek Bridge and bridge deck replacement of the Route D Sandy Creek Bridge. The bridges are included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

Due to COVID-19, and for the safety of all attendees and staff, MoDOT has temporarily suspended all in-person public meetings. In lieu of meeting in person, an online virtual public meeting is being held. There will be no presentation or person-to-person real-time contact, but rather MoDOT is providing the information online which would normally be presented at an in-person public meeting, as well as a way to submit questions or leave comments.

Those interested are encouraged to review the information using the link below and utilize the fillable comments and questions form to provide feedback and sign up for project-specific updates.

The online public meeting can be found at Mercer County Route M (Little Muddy Creek) and Route D (Sandy Creek) Bridge Projects | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org). Comments may be submitted through the end of the day Monday, Dec. 21, 2020.
