The Missouri 4-H Foundation awarded a Daviess County 4-H volunteer with the Frank Graham 4-H Volunteer Leadership Award in Columbia March 17.

Alicia Endicott was one of 40 volunteer leaders honored for their commitment to helping 4-H youth and communities thrive.

Missouri 4-H Foundation Chairperson Marla Tobin says that volunteers play a vital role in the continuous growth and development of 4-H youth.

4-H creates opportunities for more than 220,000 youth in almost every county of the state with the help of more than 9,000 volunteers who support the University of Missouri Extension 4-H Youth Development Program.
