Milan woman extradited from Utah to face non-support allegations, probation violation

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports the extradition of a Milan woman on three counts of felony non-support, total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under an order of support as well as a probation violation on misdemeanor non-support.

Thirty-two-year-old Brittany Rae Dowling was extradited from Salt Lake City, Utah. Her bonds total $8,000, and she is scheduled for the Associate Division of circuit court May 14th.

Court documents accuse Dowling of failing to provide, without good cause, adequate support for her minor child for whom she was legally obligated to provide such support,  Dowling has total child support arrearage in excess of an aggregate of 12 monthly payments due under an order of support, with total arrearage as of October 31st, 2015 of $1,168.70, as of October 31st, 2016 $1,768.70 and as of October 31st, 2017 $2,310.70.
