The final coaches interviews of the Milan High School basketball season were aired on Friday afternoon, March 4th on KTTN FM 92.3, as the Wildcat teams had lost in the quarterfinals of Class 2, District 6 at Schuyler County earlier in the week (to the Scotland County girls and Marceline boys).

A late highlight to the Milan boys season was a triple overtime victory at North Shelby on Friday, February 19th, giving the young Wildcats their one and only Tri-Rivers Conference victory.

Milan, along with Putnam County, will be leaving the Tri-Rivers Conference after this school year, joining the brand-new Grand River Conference’s Eastern Division in 2016-2017 (with Trenton, Princeton, Gallatin, Polo, Maysville, and South Harrison).
