Milan police arrest Green City man in stolen vehicle investigation

A report of a stolen utility terrain vehicle in Milan led to the arrest of a Green City man. Milan Police Chief Gail Hayes reports the police responded to the 200 block of Southeast Grandview Street on June 8th in reference to the UTV that had been taken from the victim’s front yard.

During an investigation, the UTV was recovered in Browning on June 9th by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect was later identified as Kelton Bradley Wade Chapman who was arrested by police in Milan on June 9th.

Chapman has been charged with the felonies of stealing a motor vehicle and first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle. His bond is $5,000 cash only. Hayes notes Chapman is being held at the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.
