A Milan resident was hurt early Saturday afternoon when the sports utility vehicle he was driving spun off ice-covered Highway 36 and overturned east of St. Joseph.
42-year old Jose Luis Aguilar was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with moderate injuries.
The accident happened ten miles east of St. Joseph on Highway 36 when the westbound SUV went off the right side of the road, hit an embankment, and overturned, coming to rest on the passenger side of the vehicle.
The SUV was demolished and the patrol noted Aguilar was wearing a seatbelt.
