The Highway Patrol reports a Milan man sustained minor injuries due to an accident seven miles northeast of Newtown Friday afternoon.
Twenty-eight-year-old Jonathan McDonald traveled south on Route K when he reportedly swerved to avoid a northbound combine. His car then traveled off the road and struck an embankment, causing it moderate damage.
An ambulance transported McDonald to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan.
The Patrol reports he wore a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
