Over the weekend, Mercer County Fire Protection District sent an engine, a tanker, and brush truck to a report of a semi-truck fire east of Princeton near Route CC.
Upon arrival, the fire had been extinguished by a small dry chemical extinguisher. The truck was inoperable and blocking a portion of the roadway. Units remained on the scene for awhile on Saturday, directing traffic until the truck and trailer could be moved from the roadway.
