A Rothville resident was hurt when the car she was driving collided with a grain truck in Mendon on Saturday afternoon.
Nineteen-year old Katelyn Bryant was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital (at Brookfield) with what the Highway Patrol called moderate injuries. The driver of the grain truck, 56-year old Olin Jacobs of Mendon, was not reported hurt.
The accident was on Highway 11 at Mendon. The northbound car driven by Ms. Bryant crossed the center line and hit the southbound grain truck.
The car was demolished. The grain truck received minor damage. The Patrol said Ms. Bryant was wearing a seat belt, but Jacobs was not.
