Ideas to keep the Grundy County Opportunity Center open will be the main topic of discussion at a round table brainstorming session.

The public is invited to a meeting at the center at 2600 Princeton Road in Trenton on the morning of March 20th at 10 o’clock.

Opportunity Center Director Ruth Ebersold says the center is struggling to stay open due to government regulations, such as minimum wage, and workers not having jobs integrated into the community.

The center provides in-house supported employment and has adjusted its workdays to Monday through Thursday.

The Grundy County Opportunity Center meeting March 20th is expected to last about an hour. You may contact Ebersold for more information at 660-359-6655.
