A Meadville woman received minor injuries when the van she was driving was hit from behind on Highway 65 north of Chillicothe.
48-year-old Jayne Alkire was to seek medical treatment at a later time.
The accident happened Wednesday two miles north of Chillicothe on Highway 65 when Ms. Alkire slowed the northbound van to make a left turn when the vehicle was hit from behind by a sports utility vehicle driven by 35-year-old Joshua Matthews of Chillicothe who was not reported hurt.
Damage was listed as extensive to the SUV and minor to the van.
Ms. Alkire was wearing a seatbelt but Matthews was not.
