A Marshall resident was hurt when the pickup truck he was driving overturned east of Carrollton early Saturday.
19-year-old Carl Jones of Marshall was taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The patrol reports Jones later was taken into custody after being accused of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended/first offense, failure to maintain the right half of the road resulting in an accident, and making a false report.
The accident happened on Highway 24 at old Highway 24 just east of Carrollton when the westbound pickup went off the left side of the road, returned to the pavement, began to slide, went off the road again and overturned.
The vehicle was demolished and Jones was wearing a seatbelt.
