The highway patrol reports a Marceline resident was taken to a hospital following a traffic accident Thursday afternoon in Johnson County.
Sixty-four-year-old Leota Davolt of Marceline received minor injuries when the car she was driving left Highway 2, struck a driveway and went airborne before traveling in the ditch where it came to a stop. Extensive damage was noted to the car in the 2:10 Thursday afternoon accident.
Leota Davolt, who was using a seat belt, was taken by emergency medical services to the Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton, Missouri.
