Man involved in September incident sentenced in Livingston County to 5-year prison term

A man involved in what law enforcement described as a fugitive investigation and manhunt in September was sentenced in Division One of Livingston County Circuit Court this week.

Online court information shows Brandon Michael Wood was sentenced to the Missouri Department of Corrections for five years on felony stealing–$750 or more. The sentence is to run consecutively with all other sentences.

Wood was also ordered to pay all court costs, including the board bill, as well as restitution of $1,184. Civil judgment was entered against him for the Crime Victims Compensation Fund for $46. Wood pleaded guilty in January.

Charles Wayne Mullenix was previously identified as also being involved in the September incident. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced in December to the Missouri Department of Corrections for five years on felony stealing–$750 or more. The sentence was to run consecutively with all other sentences.

Mullenix was further ordered to pay all court costs, including the board bill, as well as restitution of $1,184. Civil judgment was entered against him for the Crime Victims Compensation Fund for $46.00.
