A contract has been awarded for replacement of the Highway 13 bridge (over Log Creek) on the south side of Kingston in Caldwell County. That bridge has been reduced to one lane traffic due to severe damage discovered in late 2014.
Tonya Lohman is an area engineer for the Missouri Deparment of Transportation (MoDOT) office in Chillicothe. She reports the contract bid was awarded to Phillips Grading Company of Columbia. This is not just an ordinary bridge replacement, as environmental issues will need to be addressed:
