Livingston County tops 1000 COVID cases; Daviess County reports yet another death; Mercer County cases increase by 4, Putnam County by 3

Daviess County has had another COVID-19-related death since December 11th, which the health department reports brings the total to 12. Total cases went up by 61 for 491. Active cases increased by 20 to 130.

Livingston County now has more than 1,000 COVID-19 cases. The health center announces nine new cases since December 17th, making the total 1,004. Seventy-six cases are active, with 52 in the community, 13 school actives, and 11 facility actives. Thirty-two COVID-19-related deaths and 11 current hospitalizations are reported for Livingston County.

Probable COVID-19 cases increased in Mercer County by four since December 16th for a total of 140. The health department reports confirmed cases remain at 110. Active cases went down by 17 to 70. Two COVID-19-related deaths have been reported for Mercer County.

The Putnam County Health Department announces three additional COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 334. Fifty-five cases are being actively monitored by public health. There have been five COVID-19-related deaths reported for Putnam County.
