The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office will continue its annual Secret Santa Project.
Sheriff Steve Cox reports that he and deputies began the program in 2011and each year they accept donations from individuals and businesses in the area to help those having a difficult time due to uncontrollable situations.
The goal of the Secret Santa Project is to help kind-hearted residents with a hand up, show that good things happen to good people, and share love and friendship.
Those interested in partnering with the sheriff’s office for financial support of the program can send a check or money order to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office-Secret Santa at 901 Webster Street in Chillicothe, zip code 64601 with attention to Sheriff Steve Cox or Captain Sindy Thomas.
Donations are tax-deductible courtesy of Concerned Citizens for the Community, Incorporated, which is a 501(c)3 organization. Anyone who sends a donation needs to provide a return name and address.
