The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office received a grant reimbursement from the Missouri Police Chiefs’ Association for annual maintenance on the sheriff’s office’s Live Scan Digital Fingerprint Instrument.

Sheriff Steve Cox reports the sheriff’s office paid for the 2018 annual maintenance and then received the reimbursement of $4,060. He says the Missouri Police Chiefs’ Association helped many law enforcement agencies in the state by obtaining grant funds for upkeep.

Cox notes the Live Scan instruments are expensive, and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office received the Live Scan several years ago thanks to a grant from the Missouri Sheriffs’ Association.
