The Livingston County Sheriff is reporting a registered sex offender moving to Chillicothe.
Derryl Gene Matthes, 70, reported moving to 524 Paul Street, Chillicothe when he registered with the sheriff’s department on July 5, 2016.
Matthes is described as being five feet, six inches tall, one hundred and ninety pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He is missing fingers on his right hand.
He reports driving a yellow 1991 Geo Metro with Missouri plate CY29A and reports no employer at the time of registration.
Matthes was convicted June 14, 1993, of sexual assault with a 15-year-old girl.
