Livingston County Sheriff reports arrest of two in child neglect/abuse investigation

Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox is reporting the arrest of two individuals after serving a warrant on September 20 in Wheeling for evidence related to a child abuse/neglect investigation.

As a result of the investigation, Brandi Charlene Rogers, 29 of Wheeling and Deven Paul Rose, 25 of Wheeling were arrested on a class C felony of abuse or neglect of a child, with bond set at $5000 each.

Both have been transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb County regional jail in lieu of bond.

The sheriff’s department was assisted in the investigation by the Child Advocacy Center, Livingston County Juvenile Office and Division of Family Services.
