Livingston County reports 14 new cases of COVID-19 since June 8, 2021

The Livingston County Health Center reported the afternoon of June 9th that 14 COVID-19 cases had been added since June 8th. Total confirmed cases to date stood at 1,874. There were 122 active cases, which was an increase of six.

As of the morning of June 9th, Livingston County’s fully vaccinated rate was 30.1%, and 34.5% had received at least one dose. Last week 29.6% of residents were fully vaccinated, and 33.8% had initiated vaccination. The Livingston County Health Center notes the vaccination goal is 50 to 80%.

The health center is holding walk-in immunizations Tuesdays and Thursdays. The office has Pfizer vaccine for residents at least 12 years old. Call before coming to make sure of dose availability for the Pfizer vaccine at 660-646-5506.

Vaccines are also available at local pharmacies.
