Livingston County Library hosting centennial celebration

The Livingston County Library in Chillicothe is hosting a centennial celebration open house Sunday, November 13th to recognize the 100th year of its building.

The structure, once a federal building, was constructed in 1916 and was used as a post office until 1966 when the library moved in.

Historic information relating to the structure and the library is to be displayed during the open house from 2 until 4 o’clock.

The Grand River Chorus is to sing old fashioned songs from 3 until 4 o’clock.

The event at the library is free to the public
