The Grand River near Chillicothe is predicted to rise to a record high around 40 and a quarter feet this week, which is considered to be major flooding.

The current record for the Grand River in Chillicothe is 39 and six-tenths feet.

Livingston County Emergency Management Director Darrell Wright encourages residents to make preparations, as he expects the record to impact roads and flood things not previously witnessed.
