Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox reports the recent arrest of suspects on alleged drug-related charges.

Cox stated Grundy County authorities arrested 33-year-old Kailean Allen Volker of Chillicothe on a Livingston County warrant for alleged felony Trafficking Drugs (Methamphetamine) in the 2nd degree. Volker was described as a fugitive since October 25th, 2019. Volker allegedly first attempted to tell law enforcement he was one of his siblings but Sheriff Cox said officers knew better.

Cox reported Grundy County authorities also arrested 21-year-old Sierra Rose Copsey on a Livingston County warrant for alleged felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine). Ms. Copsey was described as a fugitive since January 28th and was with Volker at the time of the arrest. Both are being held at the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail in lieu of bonds.

Volker is held on a $20,000 cash bond with a Livingston county circuit court appearance scheduled on February 26th. Ms. Copsey is held on a $15,000 cash bond with her next court appearance on February 19th.

Another defendant, 33-year-old Amber Cashatt-Harris of Breckenridge was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Condition(s) on original charges of felony Distribution of Controlled Substance. Ms. Harris could not post bond and was incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center.

The case originated in Caldwell County and was moved last October on a change of venue to the Livingston County Circuit Court. When the warrant was issued November 1st, court information indicates bond was set at $50,000 cash.

A hearing on the case before Judge Ryan Horsman is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18th in Chillicothe.
