Linn County reports second death of COVID-19 patient

The Linn County Health Department reports the second death of a county resident due to COVID-19. No information about the person will be released. The health department offers its condolences to the family.

The first death related to COVID-19 in Linn County was reported in April.

The health department reported Monday, August 24^th a total of 73 COVID-19 cases with none remaining active.

Jennifer’s interest in radio began at a young age. She started as a news reporter at KTTN in January 2017, but previously worked almost a year and a half as an on-air announcer and with news at the NPR affiliate KXCV/KRNW, which serves Northwest Missouri. Jennifer was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri. She received a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media: Broadcast Production with an Emphasis in Audio Production from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.
