The Linn County Health Department reported it’s been informed of the death of a Linn County resident due to COVID-19.
The health department noted the individual had what it described as underlying medical conditions. Linn County Health Department stated it will not release any further information concerning the death.
Linn is the first county within the Green Hills Region to report a death due to the coronavirus. Linn County Health Department reported as of Saturday, April 11th, it has had five positive cases with one person who was described as “recovered” from COVID-19.
