The Laredo Board of Education has approved an 8th grade trip to Branson on May 5 and graduation the night of May 8th at 7 o’clock in the school gymnasium.
Classes at Laredo will be dismissed early Tuesday, December 20 at 1 o’clock for professional development time.
Christmas break begins at noon on December 21 with school to resume January 3.
An all-school Christmas program is Thursday night at 6 o’clock in the school gymnasium which is a change in time from what was announced last month.
The board approved an audit for the 2015 – 2016 school year performed by Conrad and Higgins LLC, and no concerns were expressed by the firm.
The board held a closed session regarding personnel, however, no action was taken.
Casey Bowe was the first person to file as a candidate for the Laredo Board of Education. There are Three/three-year terms to fill in April.
The filing period continues through January 17 at 5 o’clock.
