Following an executive session last evening, the Laredo R-7 Board of Education approved renewing all tenured teacher contracts.
Members also approved renewing contracts of three probationary teachers Micah Burkeybile for the Title One program and Sarah Young in first and second grades; and Abbie Herrold for part-time physical education and health.
In other actions, the Laredo school board accepted employee health insurance for next year from the Ozarks Schools Benefit Association; occupational therapy services with Greg Terwilleger; the mowing bid from H and B; and the 7th and 8th-grade co-op agreement with Pleasant View R-6 school. The 8th graders will be taking a field trip to Branson on May 8th.
It also was announced that all buses passed the annual inspection.
Parent-teacher conferences at the Laredo school will be March 19th beginning at 2 o’clock.
