The Laredo R-7 Board of Education on Monday evening approved Missouri United School Insurance Council insurance renewal. A school representative reports the premium will be $670 per year for four million dollar umbrella coverage.
The 2018-2019 school audit was approved as well as the schedule for candidate filing for the board election April 7th. Candidates can file in the Laredo School office from the morning of December 17th at 8 o’clock to the afternoon of January 21st at 4 o’clock.
The office will close on the afternoon of December 18th at 1 o’clock and reopen on the morning of January 2nd at 8 o’clock. It will also be closed for inclement weather.
Terms up for reelection are Phil Fox, Jason Meeker, and Casey Bowe for three-year terms.
The board approved an eighth grade trip to Branson. Full-time bus drivers will receive Department of Transportation physicals.
