The Laredo Board of Aldermen approved one ordinance and one agreement at its meeting Monday evening.
The ordinance renewed the city’s agreement with Kansas City Power and Light for franchise taxes and to allow the company to provide electric services to Laredo. The contract is for 20 years.
The agreement regarded a renewal with water supplier Linn-Livingston County Public Water Supply District Number 3 to continue to procure extended service warranty for the telemetry equipment installed on the city’s water tower. The warranty cost is $500 annually.
