The Highway Patrol reports the arrest of a Kirksville man in Putnam County on Tuesday on several allegations.
Drug-related allegations for 31-year-old Daren Starnes included felony possession of a controlled substance—methamphetamine, felony possession of a controlled substance—marijuana, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Starnes was also accused of driving while revoked—second offense and identity theft.
Online court information shows Starnes has been charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid. Bond is $10,000 cash or surety.
