The Highway Patrol reports a King City man sustained moderate injuries when a car overturned one and a half miles south of Ravenwood Friday morning.
Twenty-two year old Luke Townsend traveled west on U. S. Highway 136 when the car he drove ran off the road at 270th Street. The vehicle then struck an embankment before overturning and coming to rest on its wheels on the east side of the road, which totaled it.
An ambulance transported Townsend to SSM Health Saint Francis Hospital of Maryville.
Townsend wore a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The Nodaway County Sheriff’s Office and Ambulance assisted at the scene of the crash.
