The Highway Patrol reports a man from Kidder sustained minor injuries when his Freightliner overturned one mile south of Amity Tuesday afternoon.
Sixty-year-old Herman Way traveled south on Route J when the vehicle traveled off the west side of the road. He then reportedly overcorrected to the left, which caused the Freightliner to overturn on to its passenger side facing northeast in the east ditch. An ambulance transported Way to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
The vehicle received extensive damage and the Patrol reports he wore a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
